We had been to Rome before and stayed near the Colosseum (like a tourist) but on this second trip the goal was to just experience Rome like a Roman. We did it! Not only was the experience helped by the low tourism cause of COVID but because I knew I'd want to stay in Trastevere. We found Dream Trastevere and plan to stay here again. In the center of everything but quiet and secure. We had a one bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room. Had a small fridge and hot plate. Plenty for our one week stay (we made coffee and heated up left over sometimes). Trastevere, the Bohemian area of Rome, it's all about living the life here. Eating, drinking, people watching, shopping. No taxis or trams to take. Just step out your door for awesome gelato or an Aperol at any time (literally). Our trips out to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, St. Paul's, etc were easy as the team was two short blocks away. The hosts were always available and very helpful with restaurant reccs and even contacted our taxi for a 6 am flight. So, yes, we followed the "When in Rome" saying and fully enjoyed our stay in Dream Trastevere!

We were here for two nights. After advising our landing time, we utilized the option to have a driver pick us up at the airport. That ended up being a substantially less expensive option than hiring a driver ourselves and represented a real bargain. The check-in procedure was good, although we had to wait for the owner for almost an hour with our luggage on the street. The two rooms we rented were spacious, with high ceilings and air conditioning. There were large windows that were open to the street, and that caused some noise at night. The beds were very hard, which took some getting used to. In the rooms, there were coffee machines and a small refrigerator with fruit juices. The best "perk" was the illustrated color maps, which were super helpful. They had recommendations on what to see and do, and lots of recommendations on good coffee, gelato, restaurants, etc. Really really a nice touch.

Really impressed with our stay here. We booked 4 nights. Gulia was so helpful and organised a taxi to collect us and was there to meet us and spent time going through the local area. Her guide book was brilliant and told us places to visit. She gave info on buses and restaurants to eat in. She was at the end of the phone if needed. The room itself was great. Spacious for the 3 of us. Sofa bed in separate room and a mini ‘kitchen’ with a hob and fridge if you wanted to cook. Lovely bathroom. Very comfortable. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere with our 8 year old except when we got the bus to the Vatican!

Not a bad word to say about this charming little b&b, spotless, beautiful bathroom, super comfy bed, great little touches with personalized guides and great coffee facilities, fantastic location for us, Giulia and Ernesto obviously know their stuff when it comes to hospitality, not intrusive at all but I knew they were at the end of an email or telephone if needed, we will definitely be back, thank you

We stayed 3 nights and found it to be in a great location. It was in the centre of Trastevere walking distance to tram and bus stops. A short tramride took you to all the Rome central attractions. Good cafe's, bars and restaurants nearby within walking distance.
